Oreo…cheesecake…chocolate….need I say more?

Are you using Pinterest for recipes? If not, you NEED to! Although, I will warn you…it can be very dangerous.
What I am about to share with you could be (like I mentioned a second ago) very dangerous or it could be the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to you! So, I am either apologizing ahead of time for the recipe I am about to share or you’ll be giving me high fives all day long as you rave about this cake too!
You know how every day you wonder what to make for dinner? (typical day for me) So, you hop on Pinterest and start getting some really good dinner options. “Thank you Pinterest!” But, then there it is…the picture that you didn’t need to see as your stomach growls and aches because it is so hungry. You remind yourself to focus on dinner and not the chocolate yummy goodness that could be in your belly tonight. Just like they say not to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach, same thing applies here. I know, I know, I fell into the trap too.
Who cares about dinner anymore with words like Oreos, chocolate, and cake staring you right in the eye!
I’d like to say that this cake is so rich you should only have a sliver or it’s not worth your time, but I can’t. That’s not the case at all!! I hate to say it, but it was SOOOOO good! Not rich at all, perfect balance of chocolate. Did I mention the Oreos? Cheesecake middle? Chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache drizzled over the top? Whipped cream and chocolate chips?
Now that I’m thinking about it, you could totally make this for your valentine on Valentine’s Day. But, you should totally make it tonight too…you know, just to “test” it out of course.
Here’s the recipe if you dare and I’ll be here waiting for your high fives!
