What is July's Hands and Feet opportunity

Would you consider showing God’s love and compassion and wash someone’s feet?

You can make an immediate impact for children getting set to head back to school in “Soles for School” our July Hands and Feet Opportunity.

Whether you’re an individual looking to jump right into our hands and feet project with Samaritan’s Feet or a Corporate Community Relations professional looking for a new service project for the crew, we’ve got lots of ways to get involved.

“This is our fifth annual back-to-school distribution in Sioux Falls,” said Denise Blomberg, Samaritan’s Feet Regional Director. “Volunteers will serve over 2,100 children at three different Sioux Falls locations on one day. Therefore, the volunteer effort that is necessary to pull something of this magnitude off involves about 350 to 400 volunteers.”

If you don’t like to wash feet, not a problem there are volunteer jobs for everyone at this event August 19.

Life 96.5, Samaritan’s Feet and Sioux Falls Area United Methodist Churches are hosting  “Soles for School” shoe distributions at three locations across Sioux Falls on Saturday, August, 19. Those locations include, Hayward Elementary School, First United Methodist and Wesley United Methodist Church.
