This month, I was able to go to the Global Leadership Summit that is put on by Willow Creek each year.  Bill Hybels always kicks it off with some words of wisdom.  These 5 points were something that I thought was such a basic thing, yet so easily forgotten.

“Civility Code”

1. Greet each other

2. Say “please” and “thank you”

3. Respect each other

4. Be honest and sensitive

5. Address incivility when it occurs

He also issued a challenge with it called “chair time”

Spend 15 minutes each day to reflect on your life, who you are, where you are going, scripture, what kind of person you are becoming – or are you just getting busier.
