What a blessing YOU…the LIFE 96.5 family…are to Family Visitation Center children and families. Your response to June’s Hands and Feet Project overwhelmed us!
FVC director Luke Comeau says:
“Witnessing excited servant hearts delivering a month-long parade of Birthday-In-A-Bag offerings through our front door kept smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts! With 174 bags (at last count) donated in June, children currently served by Family Visitation Center – as well as though who will come through our doors in the coming months – will have the joy-filled opportunity to celebrate their special day with their family. This would not be possible without you and your abundant generosity. We are humbled.”
During the past month YOU GAVE bags of birthday blessings! Families, individuals, book/service/extension clubs, sororities, athletes, Bible study groups, businesses, churches, as well as children who had previously been served by FVC donated bags.
Luke says, “What a blessing to see the gleam in the eyes of a child who previously visited here as she described the thoughtful selection process that went into assembling her blessing bag. She was beyond proud to make her delivery.”
Bags were dropped off at Life 96.5, Small Cakes, and the FVC front door. In addition to the themed plates, cups, utensils, napkins, table covers, party favors, streamers, candles, toys, gift cards, balloons, party hats, bubbles, banners, you packed each bag with hope and love! Families throughout the Sioux Empire have and will continue to experience that love and hope as they stand in awe at the door of a decorated room, unpack each bag, blow up balloons, and eat cupcakes. Thank you for being ambassadors of hope!
