Lighting A New Way Counseling Services will present the "Parenting the Sometimes Cooperative & Unpredictable Child: Ways to Promote Attachment" class Friday, September 22 from  8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (lunch on your own) at Lighting A New Way Counseling Services, 1500 S. Geoff Moore and Jacob Daniel Concert

Geoff Moore and Jacob Daniel will be in concert Saturday evening, September 23 at 6:30 in the Lorang Theatre at O'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls.  The concert is sponsored by Rebekah's Legacy Foundation, a foundation created to help families with children battling severe medical conditions.  All concert proceeds will go to families in need of financial help.   Tickets are available online at rebekahslegacyfoundation.com.

Matthew Smith & Indelible Grace in Concert

Matthew Smith and Indelible Grace will be in concert Monday evening, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. at First Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Falls.  Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.  Matthew Smith is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who writes brand new music to centuries-old hymn texts. He is a founding member of the Indelible Grace community, whose work has drawn acclaim across denominational lines and is used in churches around the world.  Born out of a college ministry, the re-imagined hymns have found wide acceptance both among college students and the church at large, joining people who desire to honor tradition with those who want a modern musical approach. His latest album is QuietHymns.

STAND BANQUET with David and Jason Benham will be Tuesday, September 26 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center The STAND Banquet is Family Heritage Alliance’s primary fundraiser for its annual operations budget. The evening features fine dining, a year-in-review, vision casting, and this year’s special guest speakers David and Jason Benham, identical twins, serial-entrepreneurs, former pro-baseball players, leaders, husbands, fathers, authors and speakers. The cost is $35 per ticket for general admission and includes dinner. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be available online after August 7 at www.familyheritagealliance.org

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a weekly seminar / support group that will help you heal from separation or divorce and learn practical steps towards moving forward and rebuilding your life. The program is built on biblical principles and strengthening your relationship with God, while learning realistic ways for dealing with the day-to-day challenges ofdivorce. It is a non-denominational, faith-based healing program during which you can connect with others who have gone through similar life experiences. Each week has a structured topic/theme (examples: anger, forgiveness, depression, co-parenting, etc). We watch a video and have a small group discussion.
