We’re celebrating the outpouring of your love during September! Life 96.5 partnered with Food to You Mobile Food Pantry asking for donations of cans of hearty soup, large deodorant and shampoo, and you brought it!  Thanks for 53 deodorant, 57 shampoo, and 195 hearty soup donations! Each family received 1 to 2 hygiene packs, depending on size of family, thanks to you! Thanks also to Walmart North and Walmart Southwest for accepting donations.

We also asked if you would share a few hours of your time volunteering on Thursday, September 25 at the food distribution taking place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Fall. We asked for 18-22 volunteers and had 23 of you step up and serve!

Nick, director at the Mobile Food Pantry, says of that evening, “Christ was found all through the distribution. Found in the smiles of the volunteers, the thanks of our guests, and the food and products donated by the community. It truly was a special night. . .for the glory of God!”
