Your generosity and love for students in the Sioux Falls School District will be felt by our school social workers for many months to come!

By donating gift cards this spring, YOU put immediate assistance into the hands of the social workers who meet needs of students as they arise. It could be a dress shirt, pair of snow boots, cold medicine, or even a tankful of gas to get them to an after school job that brings extra income to their family.

YOU also helped provide financial resources in partnership with Dacotah Bank during our spring share fundraiser as you gave to support Life 96.5.

From Traci Jensen:  “The Sioux Falls School District would like to thank the generous listeners of Life 96.5 for their contributions to support our students academic success.  The cards are used to meet the basic needs of students so they are able to attend school on a regular basis and concentrate on their academics with fewer distractions.  We would also like to thank Life 96.5 and their staff for their continued support of the Sioux Falls School District and our students and look forward to future partnerships.”

Over all, about $3,800 was given to make a daily difference for students in need right here in our community.

If you didn’t have a chance to share a gift card yet, you can still help. Cards for stores like Walmart, Target, HyVee, Lewis or Wallgreens can be mailed directly to the Instructional Planning Center, 201 E. 38th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus !
