Sharing Christmas was created as a way to centralize distributing holiday assistance to families in need in Sioux Falls. The program matches those families at the holidays with a donor family that can help provide gifts, clothes and sometimes even a Christmas meal.
In 2018, over 600 hundred families were cared for through your generosity. Broken down further, over 2700 people received support last Christmas who might have otherwise gone empty-handed. From household items to presents for kids, the community rallied to care for thousands of unmet needs.
By participating in Sharing Christmas, you truly are sharing your Christmas with so many in Sioux Falls. Find out more (through November 16th) about adopting a family in need right HERE. If you would like to volunteer your time helping with data entry or gift distribution (through December 13th) at the Sioux Falls Ministry Center or help at the Sharing Christmas Store at Faith Lutheran Church, learn more HERE.
