Thank YOU for bringing Hoodies and Hope to men, women and children at the Sioux Falls Union Gospel Mission this fall.
Because our community came together to support the homeless with Hoodies and Hope, the Union Gospel Mission has received 800 hoodies!
Those who are homeless are being delighted with your donations of NEW hoodies this Christmas season. For men, women and children who don’t get anything new because they can’t afford them, you have provided something truly special by sharing warmth and the love of Jesus.
Union Gospel Mission co-director Linda Gonzales says people who are homeless really appreciate hoodies because they are so easy to wear and not as cumbersome as a coat. She expresses deep gratitude for Life 96.5 listeners who not only took the time to shop for the hoodies, but also made the effort to drop them off or ship them to the Life 96.5 building, Chris Tomlin concert, True Girl event, Pizza Ranch on E. 10th, and also the Mission at their location downtown. Many groups from churches and other organizations also brought donations.
Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Jesus!
