Life Chain

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Life Chains are built on the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 to humble, pray, seek, and turn back to God to heal our land and once again bring about a culture of Life. We stand united in prayer and repentance because no human being should be denied the right to life - every human being is a person created by God, in His image WITH a purpose, FOR a purpose. This peaceful hour of prayer provides a public witness by standing for the life of the most vulnerable. Many past participants have found that Life Chain inspired them to get more involved in serving in the life ministry. Please pick up a prayer sign (message on the front, prayer ideas on the back) at the parking lots of O'Gorman High School or SF First Church and come to a north sidewalk of W. 41st St. between Sertoma and Western Ave. We will have signs available at those locations by 1:30 pm. Water, lawn chairs and strollers are welcome. Please allow plenty of time due to construction and for parking, which should only be at businesses not open on Sunday. Spacing at least 10-25 feet apart makes it easier for passerby's to read the signs, unless monitoring young children. Also, stay on the sidewalk and yield to walkers.
