Trainers Angela Moore and Stacey Graber will be equipping children's ministry teachers and helpers to teach the Gospel to children and disciple them in their faith. This is for both those who are experienced and those new to ministry. We will be specifically training teachers to use the Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) curriculum which is used in Good News Clubs at the public elementary schools, as well as in Sunday School at churches. We will also teach on classroom management, snack ideas, and holiday options as well as share teaching tips and sing songs, because we all know kids love songs! To Register or for More Information, Call 605-838-7274. @CEFSiouxFallsArea

PURPOSE Join local churches and ministries to peacefully and prayerfully stand before God on behalf of preborn children. Occurs simultaneously in cities across the United States and Cananda. Life Chain is a public witness of prayer and repentance, uniting the Church in solidarity against abortion and in support of Life from conception to natural death, while boldly standing in the hope of Christ for North America. WHEN & WHERE Life Chain is held yearly on the first Sunday in October 2:00 - 3:00 PM W. 41st St. between Kiwanis and Sertoma Ave. (north sidewalk) DETAILS Bring your entire family! We will provide signs, which can be picked up at the east parking lot of SF First Church or the southeast corner of the O'Gorman parking lot. Encourage your church to come as a group. Church pastors are being invited – see if yours is planning to promote and participate. ADOPT A BLOCK! Kindly let us know the number in your group by Sept. 28, so a specific block on the route can be recommended. Water, lawn chairs, umbrellas, wheel chairs and strollers are welcome and encouraged. Life Chain will be held rain or shine, so dress appropriately. Donations are accepted to cover costs of the local Life Chain ($1 per person appreciated but not mandatory.) All proceeds after expenses will be given to support one of 3 categories - education (youth), pregnancy resource centers or adoption. As you stand for the preborn, please space yourselves at least 10 feet apart along the route (parents with young children are an exception.) Roosevelt High School, O’Gorman and Sioux Falls First Church will have parking. Do not park in front of any open businesses. Arrive by 1:30 pm to allow time for parking and finding your block. This is a time of quiet prayer and reflection. Please refrain from responding to comments from passersby. Questions? Call 605-929-6531.
